Adding Supplemental Compensation to a Timesheet:

In the case that you will be receiving additional income through the form of Supplemental Compensation, you will be required to report hours worked.

  • To charge your time go to UAccess Employee and look for the “Time” tile. Click that tile and an screen like the one below appears, in the option “select a Job”  please select Sup Comp (I think by default it will show the faculty one, so ensure you change that to sup comp so you can access the right time sheet. Then choose the option “enter time”

  • Next, go to the week you need to charge time; you will need to start charging time after June 1st for summer (do not charge time on May 31 since it is a holiday). Ensure you select the time reporting code “ SUP- supplementary compensation” as shown below.  Do not charge more than 8 hours per work day. After putting hours in the selected week click submit. Ensure you put your hours in week 1 and week 2 of every period as applicable. Please follow your Sup com template hours planned and dates.

Please let me know if you have any question. If there is any issue that prevents you to charge your time please let me know asap, I will be reviewing all the timesheet for sup comp tomorrow afternoon for approvals, so please put your time by tomorrow noon.

PS: if you want, you can charge all your summer weeks hours right away as applicable, so you don’t have to worry about charging hours biweekly (it is up to you). If you choose to do this, please ensure you follow the weekly hours as per your summer template.
