Getting Involved with Research

Psychological Science majors are required to complete 9 units (usually over 3 semesters) of Undergraduate Research to graduate.

Psychology BA students are also welcome to participate in Undergraduate Research as part of their Psychology electives.

Looking for a Teaching Experience?
- Gain classroom teaching experience assisting Psychology faculty as a Preceptor.
- Develop close relationships with faculty and gain a deeper understanding of course material.
Independent Study &
Honors Thesis Enrollment
- An Independent Study is an extended exploration of a topic under supervision of a Psychology faculty member.
- Students in the WA Franke Honors College completing their Honors Thesis in Psychology will enroll in two semesters of Honors Thesis during their Senior year.
