I am a PhD student in the Human-Animal Bond Lab, where I study the therapeutic impact of animal-assisted interventions for trauma. Drawing on my background as a clinical research coordinator at the VA, my work focuses on advancing the evidence base for psychiatric service dogs as a complementary intervention for veterans with PTSD. 

Research Interests:

  • Production of rigorous, accessible research that informs clinical practice and public policy
  • Ensuring animal-assisted interventions are recognized and supported as meaningful options for promoting wellbeing and facilitating trauma recovery.
