Memory Strategies Study
The Human Spatial Cognition Lab (HSCL) at the University of Arizona is recruiting participants for a study that aims to train and compare the effects of different memory strategies on the human brain.
Procedure:
- People will be trained on 5 different ways to remember information.
- Participants' brains will then be scanned while being tested on their memory, using each of the 5 strategies from the training sessions.
- *The study will take place over the course of about a month (and is about 22 hours of work over 6 sessions).
Participant Eligibility:
To participate in this study, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Must be between the ages of 18-35 years of age
- Must be fluent in English
- Must have normal or corrected-to-normal vision, without color blindness
- Must be healthy and pass a MRI eligibility screening
- Must be right-handed
Compensation:
Participants will be compensated $420-$440 for their time and effort.
