C.A.R.E. Global Study

C.A.R.E. Global Study

This smartphone-based online study of cognition and aging aims to better understand the relationship between cognition, aging, and the risk of Alzheimer's disease.

Procedure:

  1. Online screening and online cognitive testing to determine eligibility
  2. Answering brief surveys (< 5 min) on the Mind Window app for 10 days
  3. At-home finger-prick genotyping procedure

Participant Eligibility:

To participate in this study, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • 18+
  • Comfortable reading and writing in English
  • Based in the US
  • Regular access to a smartphone with a data plan
  • Ability to use your smartphone at random times throughout your day for 10 consecutive days.

Compensation:

Eligible participants will receive $40 for completing all study activities.

An Institutional Review Board responsible for human subjects research at The University of Arizona reviewed this research project and found it to be acceptable, according to applicable state and federal regulations and University policies designed to protect the rights and welfare of participants in research.
