Spatial Navigation Study Using Immersive Virtual Reality

The Human Spatial Cognition Laboratory is looking for healthy adults (18 - 35 years) and older adults (65 – 80 years) to participate in a research study using immersive virtual reality to better understand the nuances of human navigation strategies.

Procedure:

  • A single appointment: Up to 4 hours in a virtual reality environment performing navigation tasks.
  • Weekday and weekend appointments available!

Participant Eligibility:

To participate in this study, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Between 18 – 35 or 65 – 80 years old.
  • Have normal or corrected to normal vision.
  • No history of neurological or psychiatric disorders or seizures.

Compensation:

You will be compensated at a rate of $20 per hour, for a total of up to $80.
