Behavioral Research Across Years (BRAY) and Human-Animal Bond (HAB) Labs seeking Research Assistant
The Behavioral Research Across Years (BRAY) and Human-Animal Bond (HAB) Labs are seeking undergraduate research assistants! Both labs are part of the UA College of Veterinary Medicine, and are located on Main Campus. Student researchers will work closely with faculty, staff, and other undergraduates, and will have the opportunity to assist with ongoing projects. There will also be opportunities to submit work to undergraduate research symposia.
*Available for Directed Research Credit
Time Commitment:
- Dates: Fall 2024, Spring 2025 - *full academic year or per semester
- Hours/Credits: 10 hours per week - *equates to 3 research credits per semester
Expectations:
- Code qualitative data about human-animal interactions
- Act with professionalism, integrity, and scientific curiosity
Eligibility:
To apply for this position, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Current undergraduate student
- Interest in human-animal interaction
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Summary of student's academic information (GPA, etc.)
- Prepared weekly schedule for Fall 2024
- Two (2) professional references - name, title, company/organization, email, and phone number
- *Prior research experience preferred, but not required
