I am a PhD student in the Cognitive and Neural Systems program of the Psychology department, and a member of the Cognitive Neuroscience of Language (CNL) lab.
Research Interests:
- How do our physical experiences influence our ability to process language?
- Can physical experiences enhance our understanding of metaphorical language?
- To what extent do our bodily sensations shape the way we understand and interpret linguistic constructs?
- Do metaphors become more concrete after they become conventional?
