Researchers at the UA Cognitive Neuroscience of Language (CNL) Lab are looking for students that are 14-17 years old to participate in a brainwave (EEG) study investigating how we learn scientific concepts.

Procedure:

This study includes an in-person lesson at our University of Arizona lab, in which the instructor will talk with you about the meaning of important concepts from different areas of biology while we record your brainwaves. It also involves 2 assessment sessions carried out online

Study Timeline:

  • Day 1 - Pre-Training Assessment (online, 45 min)
  • Day 2 - Lesson #1 while recording EEG (in-person, upt to 2.5 hour)
