This article, co-written by Colin Tidwell (Graduate Student within Psychology, University of Arizona), explores the unique needs of sexual and gender minority (SGM) trainee clinical psychologists through the lens of minority stress theory. Discussed are actions clinical training programs could implement to foster the success of their SGM trainees, and several options trainees themselves can use to create change within their programs.
