PSY Event - Flyer - Lecture - Ryan on PAN at Saddlebrooke (11.09.23)

Join the College of Science and the UArizona Psychology Department in the second annual Science at Saddlebrooke community lectures! In this talk, Dr. Lee Ryan will highlight research from an exciting large-scale national study of aging - the Precision Aging Network, headed by the University of Arizona - that takes an individual differences approach to understanding brain aging and how we can maintain brain health throughout our lives.

One of the most pervasive myths about aging is that we will all experience cognitive decline as we age. But in fact, the degree of cognitive change varies widely across individuals, ranging from minimal mild changes to severe loss of function that interferes with quality of daily life.

This event is free and open to the public!

Doors at 6:00pm.
