This study is an in-person study on the U of A campus that aims to better understand how we remember knowledge and facts about the world during aging to more closely identify the risks of Alzheimer's Disease. 

Procedure:

First, individuals will be asked to complete a phone screening to determine eligibility. 
 
If eligible, participants will be asked to visit the University of Arizona for three sessions that include the following: 
  • Neuropsychological evaluation
  • Computerized cognitive tasks
  • MRI scan and Blood draw

Participant Eligibility:

To participate in this study, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Ages 60-89 
  • Individuals with either healthy cognition or memory impairments are both encouraged to participate

Compensation:

Participants who complete all three sessions will be compensated $250 for their time and effort.

An Institutional Review Board responsible for human subjects research at The University of Arizona reviewed this research project and found it to be acceptable, according to applicable state and federal regulations and University policies designed to protect the rights and welfare of participants in research.
