Opportunities to Support Psychology

The faculty, staff, and students in the Psychology Department sincerely appreciate the support of donors which helps us fulfill our mission by supporting innovative research, excellence in education, and community outreach.

Support the greatest needs of the department as identified by the Department Head.

Psychology Research Fund
Provide pilot grants for innovative projects from faculty, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows, which often lead to extramural grants. Donors can identify a particular area of research or allow the department to allocate funds for our most pressing research needs.

Psychology Undergraduate and Graduate Student Programs Fund
Enhance the educational experience of our students by supporting engagement opportunities, such as community internships, practicum placements, career workshops, and student research conferences.

Psychology Student Scholarships and Fellowships

Undergraduate scholarships are given to outstanding undergraduates to support research, educational travel, or community engagement activities. Scholarships can be established as endowments, and provide naming opportunities. Fellowships are an important way to attract outstanding students to our graduate program, by providing support for one or more semesters, freeing up time for students to focus on their studies and research.

This fellowship was established to recognize and honor the outstanding contributions of Dr. Alfred W. Kaszniak to the Department of Psychology and the University of Arizona. This fellowship supports a first-year graduate student in the Psychology Ph.D. program with outstanding academic merit and research potential, with research interests in the neuropsychology of emotion or aging.

This fellowship was established to recognize and honor the outstanding contributions of Dr. Elizabeth L. Glisky to the Department of Psychology and the University of Arizona. This fellowships supports graduate students with financial need.
