Residence Counseling

A residence counselor provides guidance to dormitory students with respect to scholastic, educational, and personal-social problems. Helps new students integrate to campus life, and assists students in making better adjustments and in planning life goals. Helps develop and supervise programs and policies related to social/recreational/academic activities and to dormitory living. Investigates reports of misconduct and attempts to resolves causes of conflict. Usually requires a master's degree, but may not be deemed necessary.
