Many Psychology Department faculty engage in research on current issues in health care delivery, education, and social justice. For example, in the Clinical and Cognition and Neural Systems areas, faculty are involved in research on the early diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease, aging, and brain damage. In the Social Psychology area, the faculty are examining the effects of stereotyping and prejudice on academic performance, health and coping, and language use.
