UA online has offered a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology since Fall 2016 and is now the largest defined online major on campus behind general studies. The UA Online BA in Psychology offers the same exceptional educational experience as the BA in Psychology major offered on main campus, capitalizing on enhanced learning through interactive technology. With this program, students have the freedom to work toward their degree from anywhere at anytime.

New to UA psychology online: In Spring 2018, Dr. Ashley Jordan, Lecturer and Director of Psychology online programs, implemented a new program just for online Psychology students: The Buddies Program! The Buddies Program is optional, however, research has shown that programs utilizing support partners or “buddies” increase an individual’s commitment to the program and overall success-rate within the program compared to people without a “buddy.” As such, the Buddies Program was developed to allow students an opportunity to connect with each other and have an “accountability partner” or buddy to help each other stay on track with coursework.
