LOCAL INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Below is a list of some opportunities for internships available in Tucson. This is not an exhaustive list. If you are interested in pursuing an internship at an organization that is not on this list, simply contact that organization and follow the same process to arrange sponsorship. You can also view a list of opportunities elsewhere in Arizona and outside the state.

Why Psychology?

Psychology is one of the most popular majors at UA. Our students explore the complex world of the mind and brain – how the mind and brain evolve from infancy to old age, the environmental influences that shape our behavior, and the impact of brain disorders such as autism and Alzheimer’s disease.

STU 210 Students (Pima Community College)

APPLYING:
During your semester in the STU210 course, you will apply for admission to the UA. One of the perks of taking the STU210 course is that you get to take advantage of our priority registration for the following semester. In order to prepare for priority registration, you will need to meet with your Psychology Academic Advisor at the UA. 

During weeks 3 through 7 of your STU210 course, you should be doing the following (regardless of your admission status at the time):

To get advising and declare the Psychology minor, please stop by Room 312 during walk-in hours or you can simply have your primary major advisor declare it for you. You do not need an appointment to declare the Psychology minor.
