Congratulations to Michael Goldstein, 1st year Clinical Psychology Graduate Student,  and Dev Ashish4th year Clinical Psychology Graduate Student in receiving the 2012-2013 Francisco J. Varela Research Award funded by the Mind & Life Institute. Each will receive $15,000 for their projects.  Michael'sproject is titled, Yoga breathing for insomnia in older adults:  A randomized controlled trial and preliminary investigation of psychophysiological mechanisms, and Dev's project is titled, Self-Compassion and the Need of Self-Preservation.
